Brain diseases today remain poorly understood due to the lack of access to the biological information contained in tissues. As cognitive functions are largely distributed in multiple functionnal areas in the brain, even as the CNS anatomy is complex, mapping and understanding of the molecular processes associated to diseases remain a challenging domain. Getting access to the brain and being able to sample tissues without any damages is a major stake.
