Our understanding of the origin and evolution of the Solar System and its implication towards the formation of the early planetesimal has become a primary goal in planetary sciences over the recent years. In this respect, a considerable amount of information regarding the primordial planetary processes that occurred during and immediately after the accretion of the early planetesimals is still present among the population of Small Solar System Bodies. Consequently, studying asteroids is of prime importance to understand the planetary formation processes, and, first and foremost, requires a reliable knowledge of their physical (size, shape, spin, mass, density, internal structure), and surface properties (albedo distributions and mineralogy)...
