The advent of 30-40 m class telescopes will allow the study of the formation and evolution of primordial galaxies in the universe. The multi-object adaptive optics concept (MOAO) was then proposed for the design of future spectrographs of the E-ELT. This technique is based on an open loop control of the deformable mirror, and a tomographic reconstruction of the wave front in directions of interest. The MOAO therefore needs to be validated in the sky, it is the role of the demonstrator CANARY. This instrument is equipped with pathways of analysis of the wavefront on natural and laser guide stars.
