In this thesis, we address the problem of integrating planning (tactical) and scheduling (operational) decision levels. In practice and in theory, planning and scheduling decisions are still most often taken sequentially. The proposed production quantities are often inconsistent with the actual capacity constraints of the workshop. This thesis we propose approaches for solving integrated production planning and scheduling problems. We develop a new mathematical model which takes into account in a novel way the sequence of operations on the machines thus guaranteeing the feasibility of the production plan. We propose a Lagrangian heuristic to solve this model for a xed sequence of operations. The originality of our approach is twofold. First...
