Background: Globally, the incidence of nosocomial infections varies from 3.5% to 12% in developed countries and from 7.5% to 19.1% in low-income and middle-income countries. The purpose of the study was to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practices toward infection prevention among health workers in Bugiri hospital, Bugiri district. Methodology: The study used a cross-sectional study design with a simple random technique as a sampling technique on a sample of 50 respondents.
