Copy of an 18-page memoir of Adolphus Wiley Montague (1835-1917) of Ripley, Tennessee, who served in the 7th Tennessee Cavalry Regiment during the Civil War. The memoir was dictated to his niece Lizzie in 1912. Also included is a copy of Montague\u27s pension application from 1906 and an introductory note by James E. Montague.
