Vertebral cement augmentation is rapidly becoming the modality of choice for treating patients who are experiencing severe and persistent pain because of osteoporosis-induced vertebral compression fracture(s). The resulting cement domain (the part of the vertebral body (VB) filled with the cement) has an irregular or complicated shape.
