Gestión municipal y promoción turística de Tarapoto

The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between municipal management and tourism promotion that takes place in Tarapoto. The research was basic type, correlational level, non-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The population and sample consisted of 25 people linked to the tourism sector, for which the survey technique and the instrument were used, a questionnaire, where 15 questions were asked according to the two study variables and their respective dimensions. For the normality test, the Pearson correlation method was used, which resulted in the existence of a direct and very significant relationship of 0.870, where 48% affirm that the level of municipal management is medium and 52% indicate that tourism promotion has a low level of development. Concluding that the existence of a significant relationship between municipal management and tourism promotion in Tarapoto is acceptable.El estudio tiene como propósito determinar la relación entre la gestión municipal y la promoción turística que se desarrolla en Tarapoto. La investigación fue de tipo básica, de nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental con un enfoque cuantitativo. La población y muestra estuvo conformada por 25 personas vinculadas al sector turismo, para ello se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario, en donde se plantearon 15 preguntas de acuerdo a las dos variables de estudio y sus respectivas dimensiones. Para la prueba de normalidad se utilizó el método de correlación de Pearson, que arrojó como resultado la existencia de relación directa y muy significativa de 0.870, en donde el 48% afirma que el nivel de la gestión municipal es medio y el 52% indica que la promoción turística tiene un nivel bajo de desarrollo. Concluyendo que la existencia de relación significativa entre la gestión municipal y la promoción turística de Tarapoto, es aceptable
