The impact of online classes to different health variables of selected DLSMHSI-SHSSHS students amidst covid-19 pandemic

Along with the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantineissued procedures came the implementation of online classes as an alternative learning method. With the sudden change in normalcy, students’ health is very likely to have been affected. This study aims to determine the impact of said learning method to specific health variables of a selected number of respondents. Descriptive study was the research design used. An adapted questionnaire was used to gather the data from respondents to determine the state of selected health variables and the adjustments applied to cope with online learning method. According to the data gathered, it is found that the respondents manage to maintain a good state of health in terms of physical, social, mental, and spiritual health. In relation to the previous statement, 64% of the respondents practice time management and self-care in order to adjust with the alternative learning method and maintain optimum state of health. We present this study in hopes of contributing to related future research, to the general population concerned in this study, and for more evident and elaborated analysis
