The research design that was used in the study is a non-experimental, descriptive type. The respondents of the study were composed of 100 respondents, 10 from each area, who are 41 years old and above, who are able to read and write, are using either oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin injections, and have type II diabetes mellitus in selected Barangays in Imus and chosen using convenience sampling. Self-made instrument was used to determine the factors affecting the compliance to drug therapy of patients diagnosed with type II diabetes mellitus.
