The study used the descriptive method employing the survey technique. Quota sampling was employed to select 251 respondents. Data was collected using a self-made questionnaire and analyzed using mean, percentage, frequency, standard deviation, t-test and f-test. The study concluded that, 1) Most of the respondents were female, married, above 50 years old, attained college level and out-patient; 2) In general, patients had no anxiety before undergoing computed tomography scan examination. However, in-patients had more tendency to have greater risk of anxiety than out-patients; 3) There was no significant difference in the level of anxiety when the patients were grouped according to age, gender, civil status and educational attainment; 4) The...
