This study aimed to examine the concurrent validity of self-concept in predicting students\u27 achievement in mathematics and language. Data were collected from 40m female students of Night College Department of De La Salle University taking up Computer Secretarial. The study is said to be a concurrent validity study because the test and the criterion data were collected at almost the same time and were already existing. The results indicated that there was no significant relationship between self-concept and students\u27 achievement. Hence, self-concept may not be a good predictor of students\u27 achievement
