PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL SISWA SEKOLAH MENEGAH PERTAMA DI PREUMAHAN VILLA DAHLIA ASRI KENALI KELURAHAN KENALI BESAR KECAMATAN ALAM BARAJO KOTA JAMBI

This study aims to reveal whether or not there is an influence between the use of social media and the intensity of reading the Qur'an of junior high school students at the Villa Dahlia Asri Kenali Housing. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach, there are 2 variables in this thesis, namely the use of social media and also the intensity of reading the Qur'an, the population to be studied is children who sit in Junior High School who are Muslim who live in Villa Housing Dahlia Asri Recognize. There are 20 people who are specifically Muslim. The study used data collection methods in the form of a questionnaire. Instrument analysis includes analysis of validity and reliability. Then the results of the product moment correlation obtained r count 0.689 and it turns out that this r count is larger than the r table where r is 0.689 while the r table at the 5% level is only 0.378 and the 1% level is only 0.515. This means that there is an influence between the use of social media and intensity of reading the Qur'an. Even when using simple regression analysis shows the same results, namely the price of Fcount = 15.66 which has been consulted with Ftable and the results show Ftable (0.05) = 4.41 and Ftable (0.01) = 8.29 the result is Fcount > This table also proves that there is an effect of using social media with the intensity of reading the Qur'an.
