Chronic kidney disease is a problem that grows in Brazil and in the world and one of its treatments is hemodialysis. This prevails in national care and is characterized by the patient's stay in the dialysis clinic for hours and at least three times a week. All this routine creates and strengthens an interpersonal relationship between the nursing team and the patient. The article in question seeks to report an experience lived by a nursing student during the voluntary internship in a hemodialysis clinic, aiming at establishing the interpersonal relationship between chronic kidney patients and those who assist them.
