This study objective to analyze the relationship that producers and consumers have in their interaction in local markets through empirical studies in short food supply chains. For this purpose, the systematic review methodology was used to analyze publications on short food supply chains, available on Web of Science, SCOPUS, and complementary material. For that, Ucinet® software was used as support. The results found pointed out that, from the 26 researched works, published from 2014 to 2019, 21 have empirical applicability.
