Riflemen – insurgents of june 1941: case study of Kretinga district

Based on the sources of the Lithuanian Central State Archives and the Lithuanian Special Archives, the article seeks to investigate the tactical–geographical dislocation of the network of the15th Kretinga Riflemen’s Team and the 1941 anti-Soviet insurgent groups of Kretinga district; it reviews the process of restoration of organizational and administrative authorities of the insurgent groups of Kretinga district, reveals the constitution of the staffs and commands of the 1941 insurgent groups in Kretinga district and presents the statistics of the 1941 insurgents – riflemen of Kretinga district and the procurement of armament
