Laws and human activities from morality standpoint: Thomas Aquinas and John Finnis

The aim of the work is to analyse the Christian conception of laws and the moral activity of man in the pursuit of the common good. There are two authors: Tomas Akvinietis and John Finn, their attitudes to laws, reasoning, summaries are given. The work consists of an introduction, four chapters and conclusions. Each division has 3 subdivisions, except for the fourth, which has one subdivision. The introduction presents the relevance of the topic, the problem, object, objectives, tasks and methods. The first chapter deals with the classification of the laws of Tomas Akvinietis, the ethics of the natural law, and the moral and legal coherence of the human law. The second chapter deals with the common good, as the object of human law, the concept of human actions, the conscience (synderesis) as an arbitrator of justice and good in the work of a man. The third chapter deals with the natural law relations with the forms of good and evil, their values and their understanding, Finn's conception of the natural law of Akvinietis. The fourth chapter contains the final notes on the realization of values by human actions
