anemonThe Holy Qur'an, which was sent as a source of guidance to whole humanity, has a style of accepting whatever is in the mind world anddaily life of man as it is, or rejecting it completely, or modifying and redefining it. How this style works in the conceptualization process of words takes my curiosity. The aim of this research is to try to overcome this curiosity by means of the words of “ummah” and “millah/nation”. In this context, the first thing to be done is to determine the usage patterns of the mentioned words in the Qur'an and the meanings they have gained during the historical process.
