Grenada. Significant achievements 2021

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Granada during 2021 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as resilience to climate change, food safety, composting, agrotourism, bioeconomy, regenerative agriculture, land and water use, livestock management and quality forage. Likewise, work was done to strengthen exports and improve plant nutrition. Finally, collaboration was provided in the training of rural youth in agricultural matters and pest control.Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Granada durante el 2021, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas como la resiliencia ante el cambio climático, seguridad alimentaria, compostaje, agroturismo, bioeconomía, agricultura regenerativa, uso de suelo y agua , manejo del ganado y forraje de calidad. Así mismo, se trabajo en fortalecer las exportaciones y en el mejoramiento de la nutrición vegetal. Finalmente, se colaboró en la capacitación de jóvenes rurales en temas agrícolas y en el control de plagas
