Guyana. Significant achievements 2015

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Guyana during 2015 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as drainage, beekeeping, family farming, water resource management, food security, shade houses, organizational management, productivity, use of biogas, costs and resilience against climate change. Finally, support was given to water harvesting, the use of communication and information technologies, and the value chains of cassava and ruminants.Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Guyana durante el 2015, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como drenaje, apicultura, agricultura familiar, gestión de recursos hídricos, seguridad alimentaria, casas sombra, gestión organizacional, productividad, empleo de biogás, costos y en la resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Finalmente, se apoyo en la captación de agua, en el empleo de las tecnologías de comunicación e información y en las cadenas de valor de la yuca y rumiantes
