Statement of the problem: Despite the studies on the antibacterial effect of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), there are few studies comparing the anti-bacterial activity of MTA with silver nanoparticle added Portland Cement (PC).Objective: The study aimed to compare the antibacterial activity of MTA with silver nanoparticle added PC.Materials & Methods: MTA, mixed with distilled water, poured into silicone molds containing discshaped spaces with a diameter of 5 mm and a height of 2 mm (n = 7).
