Experienţa noastră în tratamentul chirurgical al stricturilor de uretră

Summary. During last ten years the incidence of urethral strictures in urology departments from Moldova is 1- 2% of patients. In this time the surgical treatment remains one of controversial problems in treatment of urethral strictures. In this research were investigated 332 (1,8%) patients in department of urology from Republican Hospital during 7 years (1995-2001). The results show that optic uretrotomy is a choice method in treatment of all urethral strictures but open surgery is preferable in treatment of obliteral posttraumatic strictures
