Fundamental Basketball Drills for the Coach in a Small High School

This thesis was undertaken to provide basketball coaches in small schools with a keen knowledge of fundamental drills to utilize in developing basic skills for basketball. The major reason why drills are important is the time factor. Good drills that move at a steady pace without breaks make for good motivation and interest as they become time saving devices. The problem is how we can develop fundamental skills which modern basketball requires in the limited time that is available in the small high school. The answer of course is drills--drills which enable a basketball coach to teach fundamentals in a minimum amount of time and still keep the squad moving from one activity to another
