A diagnosis of the current situation was made in the aspects; socio-cultural, economic, environmental and tourist of the Canchagua parish, in which the tourist route with natural and cultural attractions for the development of tourism is located. A rapid market survey was carried out on people who were visiting the province of Cotopaxi through the application of surveys to tourists, the interpretation of results was carried out where important information was obtained and the supply and demand for the route could be defined. tour. The offer of the Cerro Sagrado Wingopana tourist route was determined, as well as the tourist plant, infrastructure and complementary services. The demand was identified through the data obtained in the survey carried out. Subsequently, the information obtained was analyzed and promotional strategies were designed in order to increase the influx of tourists on the route, where they can carry out sustainable tourism activities that contribute to the revitalization of the local economy. Se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual en los aspectos; socio-cultural, económico, ambiental y turístico de la parroquia Canchagua, en la cual se encuentra la ruta turística con atractivos naturales y culturales para el desarrollo del turismo. Se realizó el sondeo rápido de mercado a personas que se encontraban visitando la provincia de Cotopaxi a través de la aplicación de encuestas a turistas, se realizó la interpretación de resultados donde se obtuvo información importante y se pudo definir la oferta y la demanda para la ruta turística. Se determinó la oferta de la ruta turística del Cerro Sagrado Wingopana, también la planta turística, infraestructura y servicios complementarios. Se identificó la demanda a través de los datos obtenidos en la encuesta realizada. Posteriormente se analizó la información obtenida y se procedió al diseño de estrategias promocionales con la finalidad de incrementar la afluencia de turistas en la ruta, donde pueda realizar actividades de turismo sostenible que contribuya a la dinamización de la economía local. Se diseñó estrategias promocionales de marca o imagen de la ruta, la misma que se forma de; un logotipo, isotipo, y slogan, también se diseñó estrategias de atracción como; página web, eMail marketing o mailing, blog, una página en Facebook, y una página de twitter, también se elaboró estrategias de promoción en ferias turísticas, y la estrategias de merchandising con objetos personalizados con el logotipo de la ruta, todas estas estrategias ayudarán a promoción de la ruta turística del cerro Wingopana de la parroquia Canchagua y obtener el incremento de turista
