In the present research study, ruda essential oil (Ruta graveolens) was extracted by using the steam destillation method using “XIAOJIAN” (Lanphan Ltd., China) equipment in a laboratory of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CAREN) at Technical University of Cotopaxi.
