The purpose of this research project is the design and implementation of an electric fence for the protection of livestock, using photovoltaic energy in the “La luz” farm, located in the province of Cotopaxi, Pujilí canton, specifically in the Pilaló parish, due to the availability of solar energy, taking advantage of climatic and meteorological factors, which were compared with the data obtained in the aforementioned farm, for the analysis of the solarimetric information; It is necessary to know the final application that the solar resource will have.
