Although allergy to local anesthesia in dentistry is very rare, this complication is always possible. This literature review is prospecting the risk factors for allergy triggered by constituents of anesthetics, latex and field. Predisposing states will also be developed. Where appropriate, tests that may indicate a potential allergic reaction process must be performed by the allergologist in hospital, which allows to select a local anesthetic product non-allergenic and totally secure
