Urgensi Gugatan Online di Pengadilan Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19 Berdasarkan Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 3 Tahun 2018 Tentang Administrasi Perkara di Pengadilan

The Covid-19 pandemic brought drastic changes in social life, including the world of justice. In practice, the trial that was previously held conventionally turned into an online trial. Based on the Regulation of the Supreme Court Number 1 of 2019 concerning the Administration of Cases and Trials in Courts Electronically or E-Litigation, this was issued in order to realize more effective and efficient case administration services and trials in court. In the online lawsuit registration, the Supreme Court issued regulation number 3 of 2018 concerning the Administration of Cases in Court, this was initiated before the Covid-19 pandemic entered and hit Indonesia. Because it is increasingly advanced at this time to facilitate online-based community service activities in court, and as for it is also regulated in article 1 paragraph (5) only in carrying out filing a lawsuit regarding online based civil. Likewise, what often happens in the community in the process of social interaction so that disputes arise between the parties which are often referred to as civil disputes. The online lawsuit registration process is in line with the times, where the digital era has been widely understood by the public. Information technology has become a mainstay to complete the tasks and functions of many things. Precisely with the presence of information technology and the digital era for courts that are open to accepting judicial reforms as well as ways to register lawsuits online. to provide comfort for the community in seeking justice in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) concerning the power of the judiciary.Keywords: Online Lawsuit, Covid-19 Pandemic, Court
