This paper is motivated by the changes to the Corruption Eradication Commission Law (UU KPK) which has been approved and ratified. Demonstrations in various regions were carried out by students to express their rejection of the results of the changes to the KPK Law which did not produce the expected results. This study aims to examine whether the KPK Law is in accordance with the needs of the Indonesian people and considers the views of the philosophy of law in this case Sociological Jurisprudence. The method used in this study is a normative legal research method, which includes legal principles. This research uses a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. This normative legal research is based on library materials or secondary data, covering primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The normative legal research method is a method or method used in legal research conducted by examining library materials. The results of this study indicate that the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2019 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Crime Eradication Commission Corruption is not appropriate when viewed from the Legal Philosophy of the Sociological Jurisprudence school of thought.Keywords: Crime, Corruption, Sociological Jurisprudence, Philosophy of La
