Objective: to identify the impact of work characteristics on supportive attitudes of nurses in family care in the context of primary health care. Method: cross-sectional study with 71 primary health care nurses. A form was used to characterize the participants and the Families’ Importance in Nursing Care – Nurses’ Attitudes scale was applied. Descriptive and analytical statistics were applied, stratifying the scale scores according to the characteristics of the nurses.
