PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogea L.) DI TUMPANG SARIKAN DENGAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata Sturt)

The Purpose of this research is to find out the effect of urea fertilizer on growth and production of peanuts (arachis hypogeal L.) in intercropping with sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The research was conducted in Petapahan Village, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research took place 4 months from march to july 2021. The design used in this study was a non-factorial randomized block design consisting of 4 levels of treatment which was repeated trhee times. The number of plots. In each plot consiting of 12 peanut plants 9 of which were sampled and 9 corn plants 7 of which were sample plants. Research treatment, namely U0 : without urea fertilizer treatment, U1 : Urea fertilizer 100 kg/ha, U2 : Urea fertilizer 200 kg/ha, U3 : Urea fertilizer 300 kg/ha The results of this study showed a significant effect on the harvesting age of. peanut, number of groundnut pods, and dry seed weight of peanuts. U3 : treatment (giving 300 kg/ha of urea) gave the best results. The number of pithy pods of peanuts was 20,51 with a dry seed weight of 27,98 grams and U2 treatment (administration of 200 kg/ha of urea) gave the best result at harvesting age of peanuts, namely 89,33 day
