LA PERCEPCIÓN DEL TURISMO INTERNO EN PANAMÁ DURANTE LA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19

This work has the sole purpose of knowing the opinion of the students, their experiences, and preferences in domestic tourism, it is intended to evaluate the current situation from the point of view of the respondents. In this study we will identify factors that directly affect the practice of domestic tourism,  we will know the motivations, preferences of accommodations, inconveniences, etc. during the practice of domestic tourism. The purpose is to offer information to tourism stakeholders so that they can elaborate and implement strategies to improve the tourism offer; it is also intended to promote interest in conducting domestic tourism studies and to have a consumer profile, trying to avoid the implementation of changes in the sector from imported models without considering the interests of the demand.Este trabajo tiene el único propósito de conocer la opinión de los estudiantes, sus experiencias y preferencias realizando turismo interno, se pretende evaluar el panorama actual desde el punto de vista de los encuestados. En este estudio se identificarán factores que inciden directamente en la práctica del turismo interno, conoceremos las motivaciones, preferencias de hospedades, inconvenientes, etc. durante la práctica de turismo interno. La finalidad es ofrecer información a los actores del turismo para que se elaboren e implementen estrategias que mejoren la oferta turística, también se pretende fomentar el interés por realizar estudios de turismo interno y tener un perfil del consumidor, procurando evitar la implementación de cambios en el sector desde modelos importados sin tomar en cuenta los intereses de la demanda
