The Multimodal and Multimedia Discourse Critical Studies (MMCDS) reflects on the coexistence of two serious pandemics: the current armed conflict and the Covid-19 one. The proposed objectives include, firstly, applying the principles of the MMCDS approach to explore how the two pandemics are constructed and used to systematically create media revictimization exercises. The discursive links that build the meaning of the crises, and the similarities and ruptures between conflict and coronavirus are examined.
