Endoglin (CD105), a transforming growth factor (TGF)-% coreceptor, and endothelin-1, a vasoconstrictor peptide, are both overexpressed in tumor endothelial and melanoma cells. Their targeting is therefore a promising therapeutic approach for melanoma tumors.
