Spodoptera frugiperda J.E. Smith is an invasive pest that caused a substantial yield loss in corn in Indonesia. The study aimed to determine the biology, survival curves, and demographic statistics of S. frugiperda. The experimental research was conducted by assessing the number of individuals, developmental period, sex ratio, and population growth parameters of S. frugiperda. In the laboratory studies, the eggs were laid by the female and hatched in 3 days. Emerging larvae pass through 6 instars. Average development duration of larvae, starting from instar I, II, III, IV, V, and VI was 2.33; 2.85; 2.79; 2.63; 3.25; and 4.86 days.
