ABSTRACT A nurse was one of the most needed personnel for the success of hospital services. This success cannot be separated from good performance. One of the factors causing sub-optimal performance is stress due to a workload that is too high. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between workload and work stress on nurse performance. This research used quantitative descriptive research, namely the presentation in the form of numbers with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 64 nurses who were taken using a purposive sampling technique in November 2021-January 2022.
