Poverty in North Sumatra Province is a complex problem that is influenced by various factors. The objectives of this research was to discover and analyze the factors that influence poverty in North Sumatra Province. This research analyzed 5 independent variables using secondary data in the form of panel data and cross section of 33 districts / cities and time series for 4 years (2016-2019). The analysis tool used is panel data regression with the fixed effect method using the EViews 11 software. The results show that population and per capita expenditure have a negative and statistically insignificant effect on poverty in North Sumatra Province with a 99 percent confidence level, unemployment has an effect positive and insignificant towards...
