Scandinavian Journal of Vocations in Development (SJVD) was established out of a need for more scientific publication channels focusing on research in the field of VET in Scandinavia. The first edition, published in August 2016, mainly focused on the research being conducted by the research community in the Department of Vocational Teacher Education at OsloMet, then HiOA. From this starting point the editorial group has developed and expanded and today includes several other professional research communities and environments.
