Reflex syncope is among the most commonly encountered in the clinical practice. Most of these events are mild and do not require major therapeutic interventions. The major problem is recurrent syncope with injuries and a short prodromal symptom phase, usually related to a significant cardiodepressive response. One treatment method is implantation of a cardiac pacemaker. The aim of this article is to present the current knowledge on this subject.Reflex syncope is among the most commonly encountered in the clinical practice.
