Noise properties of modelocked semiconductor laser clocks are measured for applications in photonic analog to digital converters. The lasers possess 0.1% amplitude fluctuations and approx. 46 fsec timing jitter at 10 GHz repetition rates, which is sufficient for 10 Gsps, 10 bit resolution ADC\u27s. Additionally, a COTS component, multiwavelength, composite diode laser/fiber cavity based on the international telecommunication grid (ITU) wavelength spacing is also presented
