This article compares the phonologies of Macedonian and Slovenian, based on which it analyzes phonological errors by Macedonian speakers learning Slovenian as a foreign language. Twenty Macedonian-speaking students at the University of Primorska were included in the research. The analysis includes pronunciation variants of v and l, pronunciation of e and schwa before r, and pronunciation of voicing alternations. The results are systematically presented in tables.
