MÚSICOS DA NOITE: ESTRATÉGIAS E LEGITIMAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL

This article discusses the trajectory of three musicians who play in the night of Fortaleza, namely Robston Medeiros, Flávio Rangel and Gilmar Nunes, from their formation processes, since the social background of each to the consolidation of their careers in the city over the decades of 1990, 2000 and 2010. From the notions of field, symbolic capital, cultural capital and habitus of Pierre Bourdieu, we analyze how these musicians have integrated the existing musical environment in the city's bars located in neighborhoods frequented by the middle class, how they interacted with the public and with the owners of establishments and what were their positions on the working conditions encountered. We analyze also how this interaction explained the existing hierarchical relationship between professionals and entrepreneurs. We approach their strategies to deal with this environment found and how they acted to ensure its legitimacy as professionals and for obtain recognition of their place as musicians. For this purpose, we consider aspects such as music capital and ability to interact with the public.Este artigo aborda a trajetória de três músicos da noite de Fortaleza, a saber, Robston Medeiros, Flávio Rangel e Gilmar Nunes, a partir dos seus processos de formação, desde a origem social dos agentes até a consolidação de suas carreiras na cidade nas décadas de 1990, 2000 e 2010. Utilizando como referenciais as noções de campo, capital simbólico, capital cultural e habitus de Pierre Bourdieu, analisamos como eles se integraram ao ambiente musical já existente nos bares da cidade em bairros frequentados pela classe média, como interagiram com o público e com os donos dos estabelecimentos e quais foram suas posturas diante das condições de trabalho encontradas. Analisamos, também, de que forma essa interação explicitou a relação hierárquica existente entre os profissionais e os empresários. Abordamos suas estratégias para lidar com esse espaço encontrado e como agiram para garantir sua legitimação como profissionais e obter o reconhecimento do seu lugar na qualidade de músicos, considerando aspectos como capital musical e capacidade de relacionamento com o público
