This text aims to show how a song, as a cultural artifact, is far from having a fixed meaning. To do so, it retaques some compositions – immersed in a whole net of historical relationships in the musical domain –, suggesting they are appropriated e reappropriated according to different set of meanings. As a sound chameleon, their senses move to an extent where the song loses its original significance given by its author.
