This paper presents a brief analysis of two of the most important words in Spanish regarding the world of books: biblioteca and librería, through a diacronic study by means of an analysis of some representative documents from two of the most extensive lexical databases in the Spanish language. This study covers a period from the thirteenth to the twentieth century, and its objective is to offer some reflections that allow an approach to a documented use of both concepts divided in centuries in order to contextualize the developing of libraries as instruments to underpinning investigation and divulging knowledge throughout history of Spain.Este trabajo presenta un análisis de dos de las palabras más importantes en español relacionadas con el...
