Thin layer chromatography of thespesia populnea leaf extract showed the presence of quercetin the Rf value is compared to standard quercetin. HPTLC result of thespesia populnea leaf extract explained the quantitative estimation of quercetin content . The amount of Quercetin in Hydro alcoholic extract of Thespesia populnea was found to be 0.1972%w/w. After confirmation of presence of quercetin from thespesia populnea leaf extract then isolate the quercetin by using column chromatography. Repeated the column isolation got a high yield of quercetin. The isolated quercetin was characterized by UV-Visible , FT-IR, NMR, LC-MS spectroscopy .The spectroscopic results explained the isolated quercetin structur and molecular weight. The...
