This paper describes the simulation of power converters at system level, with reference to the Matlab-Simulink program, The characteristics of Matlab-Sudink as a simulation tool for power electronics system are described, especially as far as the analysis of the control system is concerned. Some examples are presented, relevant to both power converters and motors models. An example related to the simulation of an induction motor drive with power and control aspects aspects is described too
