Based on Tardif’s teacher knowledge categories we discuss disciplinary knowledge’ aspects concerning music teaching elementary school that was developed by participating teachers in a teacher education activity centered in the development of teacher knowledge and underpinned on digital technology. The empirical material was constituted through questionnaires and interviews realized with eight elementary school teachers, who participated in teacher education activity, as well as from field notes produced during the sessions. The teacher education activity was organized in five meetings of four hours each complemented of 10 hours for reading and planning activities, reaching 30 hours.
