Aim - In chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), the research of BCR-ABL1 fusion transcript became essential to confirm the molecular diagnosis. In this study, we describe the different types of BCR-ABL1 fusion transcripts found in CML patients in West Algerian patients.Methods - A total of 167 CML suspected patients were included in our study. A qualitative research on fusion transcripts was carried out by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique in the biochemistry laboratory of Oran’s university hospital establishment.Results.
