The cognitive pathological aging process of Alzheimer’s diseases (AD) accompanied by physiological changes and modifications in cognitive abilities. Most of the work carried on cognitive functioning of AD patients has provided a better description of the cognitive disturbances caused by this disease.These disturbances are dominated by a deficiency in certain memory systems, in particular episodic memory, semantic memory and working memory, followed by a deficiency in language production and comprehension and in executive function.We briefly present in this work a general overview on Alzheimer’s disease followed by a presentation of a cognitive aspect of this disease enclosing the particularities of the effect of AD on memory function and th...
