Abstract Background: Suppurative spondylitis is 4% of all osteomyelitis, including discitis, epidural abscess, and vertebral osteomyelitis. It is generally seen in young adults and elderly persons and specifically persons with weak immune systems. Suppurative Spondylitis patients, after experiencing a failure in the medicinal therapy, choose to undergo surgery. Few patients have deplorable conditions for surgery.
